2019 International Society for Fall Protection Symposium
On June 13, 2019, in partnership with the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), we delivered the 2019 ISFP Symposium in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event provided a forum for safety practitioners, regulators and scholars to discuss ways to reduce or eliminate fall injuries and fatalities. The presentations also addressed regulatory compliance issues related to fall protection and work at heights. Our presenters, led by keynote speakers Babak Memarian and Thomas Kramer, were described as both “outstanding” and “thought provoking” by the attendees.
As always, we felt it was important to bring international perspectives to the conversation on work at heights, stemming from new and emerging fall protection issues. Our speakers came from across the globe, representing Australia, Brazil, Kuwait, Canada and the USA.
This is what attendees of the 2019 ISFP Symposium had to say about the event:
- “I am a first-time attendee and loved it. I will definitely be back for the next one.”
- “Outstanding experience. It was relevant and meaningful.”
- “Excellent value. Great training from experienced professionals. Good variety of topics.”
- “I have been in the safety profession for 15 years and this is one of the best events I have EVER attended.”
