July 11, 2009
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. -- The International Society for Fall Protection (ISFP) announced today that it will partner with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) for the 2010 International Fall Protection Symposium (IFPS). The 2010 IFPS will be held June 16-17, 2010, in conjunction with ASSE's Safety 2010 Professional Development Conference and Exposition (PDC) in Baltimore, Md.
The ISFP currently hosts the International Fall Protection Symposium (IFPS) every two years and has collaborated with ASSE for the past two symposia. "ASSE's cooperation has been instrumental in the success and organization of the 2006 and 2008 IFPS. Over the coming months, we look forward to working with ASSE and our constituency to develop a comprehensive program that meets and exceeds the needs of the industry," says ISFP President Randall Wingfield.
The 2010 IFPS will address issues directly affecting the fall protection community, including effective safety practices, fall hazard assessment and new technology. Call for presenters coming soon.
